Since 1992, MPI has harnessed the latest in quantitative thinking to create practical applications for investment management practitioners and organizations. Seeing great potential in Noble laureate Bill Sharpe’s concept of returns-based style analysis (RBSA), MPI’s founders built the industry’s first commercial application for RBSA. Since then, MPI has created a full platform of quantitative and reporting solutions that utilize patented models and proprietary techniques. Seeing investors’ need for greater precision and transparency – especially in complex and often opaque strategies and products, such as hedge funds – MPI created its patented Dynamic Style Analysis (DSA), a predictive and adaptive model that has revolutionized RBSA.
