Summit, NJ – Nov. 16, 2016 – Markov Processes International, Inc., (MPI), a global FinTech provider, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC will use MPI’s Stylus Pro software across multiple Divisions as one of the analytical tools used to fulfill its investor protection mission.

The SEC’s selection of MPI’s flagship software platform comes as MPI has seen increased interest globally from asset management regulators for data-driven technology solutions that augment legacy intelligence programs through the innovative application of advanced quantitative analytics. MPI’s investment surveillance tools are also used by fund selectors and institutional consultants to perform due diligence and identify potential red flags in their investment portfolios and platforms, as well as by asset management firms seeking to monitor risk exposures across their own funds and strategies, and those of their competitors.

Michael Markov, CEO and co-founder of MPI, commented, “We are honored to provide our tools to the SEC for the quantitative analysis of funds in support of their mission.”
